Kyra Kyrklund’s training and riding career has kept her at the top of world-class dressage for many years. She has trained and successfully competed no less than thirteen different horses at international Grand Prix standard—an outstanding achievement, which few riders could ever emulate. In her native Finland, she has been National Dressage Champion ten times; she has taken part in five successive Olympic Games, won a silver medal at the World Equestrian Games in 1990, and won the Volvo World Cup final in 1991.
